Description

Geismar FWParkplatz is an original miniature watercolor inspired by a place on the verge of disappearing. This small parking area in Geismar, surrounded by trees and quiet corners, is scheduled for demolition as part of the redevelopment of the local volunteer fire station. Although the community has submitted a petition to preserve the site and its trees, the future of the area remains uncertain.

Painted from life, this miniature captures a moment suspended between presence and loss. It highlights the contrast between everyday functionality and the fragile beauty of urban nature. The intimate 6 × 4 cm format invites viewers to reflect on how quickly familiar places can change, and how art can preserve what might soon be gone.
