Why Choose a Hand‑Bound Watercolor Miniature Sketchbook

The miniatelier mini sketchbooks began as a personal project. After creating and filling twelve tiny books for myself, I realized that even on hectic days, the world can slow down and even come to a standstill.

Each one became a loyal companion on my journeys, whether on everyday outings or on the trips I cherish most. I love how this compact format makes such an enriching practice truly within my reach, even when time is short.

Edition 1 marks the first public release of this format. As the first edition of the Miniatelier miniature sketchbook series, it offers artists and collectors the earliest opportunity to engage with the series as it begins.

Each book is bound with beautiful African fabrics with vivid patterns. The structure combines repurposed cardboard, a rescued elastic closure, and 22 Aquapad pages (100% cellulose, cold‑pressed 300 g/m² watercolor paper). A small index invites the owner to document each page, while an abstract watercolor inner design and a unique internal pocket make every piece different and unique.
